Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, today for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs I’m sharing some inspiration using one of their gorgeous Stacker Dies which I just adore. It’s such a beautiful design at the edges that gives any style of card an elegant touch.

I started by die cutting my Stacker Dies in white cardstock and tattered my patterned layers of papers at the edges. I layered onto my card with foam strips for extra dimension.

My flowers were shaped on my Embossing mat adding ink into the centres and a gem. I arranged on my card with some leaves.

Birthday Wishes - Cherish The Memory

Hi there, today for my DT post at Cherish The Memory I have been playing once again with the beautiful Studio Light Collection they sell in their Etsy Shop.

I started by tattering the edges of my 6x6 paper from the Summer Feelings collection and diecut my Lacey square onto my card. Next I applied some random touches of stamping onto my paper and heat embossed with some Gold Powder.

I added more Gold Embossing powder onto the edges of my Butterfly image from the Ephemera Sheets and fully embossed my Doily die cuts. I added a little tulle (netting) behind my image to give a delicate look to compliment the butterfly.

Finishing with a sentiment a Flower and some touches of lace.

Gardeners Notebook - Craft Consortium

Hi fellow crafters. Today for my Design Team post at Craft Consortium I have been playing with the beautiful Wildflower Meadow Paper Pad and Stamp sets making a little vintage garden note book.
I used Eileen Hull’s Passport Book die to make this. So let me show you my photos.

I covered Greyboard with papers from my Wildflower Meadow Pad gluing on both sides and once dry die cutting the shapes of the covers. I added ink to the edges and stamping on the corners.

My Greyboard for my spine was covered in Hessian on the outside and paper on the inside.
My Wildflower image also comes from a selection of toppers in the paper pad, diecutting it, inking and layering onto a few diecuts along with some cheesecloth.

On my inside covers I added a couple of pockets with some faux stitching at the edges, a touch of lace and a button. My insects were heat embossed with Wow Powders and coloured with Copic Pens.

I stamped some small faux seed packets and placed in the pockets.

I finished my book by adding more of the beautiful papers into my book along with some plain papers and fixed in place with Twine.

New Baby

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing a baby card using a couple of their Dies in the Whimsical range along with a selection of others.

You will notice I started tattering my layers of patterned paper adding onto my card with my Celtic Stacker die in-between.

Next I added my pretty Doily layers and stamped sentiment. My Whimsical Giraffe I glued onto a pale green paper and fussy cut around.

My Whimsical Flower I cut out in pale green paper and layered my patterned flower on top twice which had been shaped on my Embossing mat to add dimension. Finishing with several gems on my card.

Backpack Adventures - Cherish The Memory

Hi everyone, today for my DT post with Cherish The Memory I have been having fun with their Ephemera and 3D Decoupage Sheets from Studio Light.

I started by cutting out my Spellbinders die from Becca Feeken in Kraft Card adding a layer of paper from the Memories of Summer pad to the background.

For my centre image I used the 3D Decoupage sheets layering with Silicone Glue and inking my layers at the edges. I added a mixture of media’s onto my flowers.

On my top layer I edged with a pretty lace for extra detail and added some more Ephemera die cuts and paper flowers.

I do hope you feel inspired to try a card similar to this using the Studio Light Collection.

Every Day of Your Life

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some inspiration with their Cardmaker Dies. These are great Dies for putting a statement on your card especially if you need a card last minute for someone.

I started by matting my Cardmaker layer onto a layer of cardstock a few shades darker. Next I stamped my sentiment and mounted onto the same colour of card used in my background. This was then added onto my card with an accent of my Tag die behind and flourishes offset to the sides.

My flowers have been shaded with Distress Inks adding Flowersoft into the centres of the smaller ones and a sparkly gem into my Daisy.

Little Birdhouse

Hi everyone, today for my DT post with Craft Consortium I have been playing with a birdhouse from their MDF range and some of their beautiful Decoupage papers.

I started by adding some paint to all my outside edges that I didn’t want to cover with paper.
Next I added a layer of Mod Podge onto my MDF and placed the Decoupage Paper onto top. Once dry I sanded the edges for a neat finish and coated with a top layer of Mod Podge.

Craft Consortium has an amazing range of Decoupage papers to suit all styles of crafting. Do check them all out HERE.
