Vintage Valentine Box

Hi Everyone, I'm back today sharing another DT post for Craft Consortium with some inspiration for Valentines Day.

I started off by tearing my Decoupage Paper and going around the edges with a Dark Red Copic Pen, this gives it a patchwork effect. I glued onto my Paper Mache box on the inside and out with Mod Podge Matte and then went over my whole box with Mod Podge to seal it.

I made my bow and placed my ribbon on with some Scorpal tape adding a few gems.

My Resin Roses I added some Die cut leaves, with the touch of greenery this helps them stand out and gives another touch of detail.

My image I layered onto complimentary coloured card and attached my Heart Buckle onto my ribbon for the perfect finishing touch.

Many thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out Craft Consortium to see their full range and on Facebook for inspiration and regular giveaways. You will also find them on Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.

Crafty Hugs,

Julie x
