Vintage Postcard

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by today to see my DT post for Cherish The Memory. Their Etsy Shop has a lot of amazing new products just arrived form Studio Light and today I have been creating with the new Memories of Summer Collection.

My card today uses one of the beautiful 6 x 6 papers. I used the Hemstitch Rectangles from Becca Feeken to add a little detail onto the paper and to bring your eye to focus on my 3d Decoupage in the centre. Adding a couple of flowers and a postage stamp from the Ephemera sheets. I love how my card has a vintage postcard look to it.

The Songbird

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing a vintage styled card using some papers I picked up recently at a car boot sale, along with a few other bargains.

I started by tattering edges of my base layer and heat embossed some gold powder onto the edges. Adding layers with coordinating papers, a little cheesecloth for a shabby look and my bird with embossing powder also at the edges.

My flowers were all cut out from coordinating papers and shaped on my Embossing mat and stamens added into the centres. I then arranged my floral arrangement onto my card along with leaves and flourishes.

Follow Your Dreams - Cherish The Memory

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by today to see my DT post for Cherish The Memory. Their Etsy Shop has a lot of amazing new products just arrived from Studio Light and today I have been creating with the new Memories of Summer Collection.

I decided to make a journal book using my 6 x 6 paper pad and some of the Ephemera sheets. Which would equally look lovely used on cards and scrapbook layouts.

I started by gluing papers onto my Greyboard and diecutting out my shapes using Eileen Hulls Passport Die. I added Embossing Powder to the edges and glued some of the Ephemera from the Memories of Summer Sheets onto the covers, also adding some small gold star sequins for a touch of sparkle.

I glued my Hessian strip onto Greyboard with Mod Podge and once dry also die cut. My pages were die cut out adding some Ephemera die cuts and attaching in place with some garden string.

My Rainbow

Hi everyone, for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs this week I challenged myself to make a clean and simple styled card. This is something I find very hard to do as I always want to add more details within my design. So I guess this is probably as minimalistic as I can manage and I hope you like it and feel inspired to also step out of your comfort zone too.

I started by die cutting my smallest square in my stitched stackers in colours of the rainbow to compliment my stamped sentiment, adding my small Doily which was cut in half and placed in the centre.

My next layers were all added with foam strips for added dimension along with a few flowers to sit on my cloud. Adding a final touch of some squiggly lines around the edge of my card.

Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some inspiration using one of our Cardmaker Dies. I love the elegance and impact these give to a card especially if you need to make a card quickly.

I started by die cutting my Cardmaker die in Gold Mirri Card and in White Cardstock. I then offset my layers making sure I had an even aperture around the edges. I then layered onto my card with foam strips for added dimension.

Happy Anniversay was stamped and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I added extra touches of detail layering my Tags#2 flourish dies around the edges of my middle layers and adding on some gems.
