2016 Fall and Winter Holiday Release Part One - Winter and Christmas

Hi everyone, today I am showcasing the fabulous Fun Santa Set from Cheery Lynn's current mini series. This is part one of the Fall and Winter Release.

As you can see the Fun Santa Set comes with a great collection of dies and on my card I have used 5 of the dies out of this set.

Santa has been shaded with Copics. I layer his body twice for extra dimension adding some silicone glue in between my layers. His belt and head were also layered on twice. I highlighted his beard, hair and coat with a Snow Writer pen, adding on some Glamour dust for extra sparkle.

My window I layered a polka dot paper and a Reindeer behind to give the illusion of snow falling and looking outside. My curtains were made my spraying a length of paper with water to dampen, adding my concertina folds and drying with my heat gun.

My tree I added decorations coloured with Copics and touches of Stickles. My Christmas lights I added some Glossy Accents onto the bulbs. Tucking in my Christmas parcels at the base of the tree. The bows and Christmas sentiment I added Red Tinsel Embossing Powder for lots more sparkle.

Enjoy Your Special Day

Hi Everyone, hope you are having a lovely week and managing to have some creative time. Today for my DT post with Craft Consortium I am using their Bloom Beautiful Paper Pad and an assortment of their embellishments.

It's no secret how much I adore this paper pad and today I am showing how versatile this pad is by making my Wedding Card. As you can see I tattered my layers at the edges and to make the patterned papers pop I added some plain cardstock in a complimentary colour.

My layers were added with foam tape to give dimension adding some lace and diecuts. The elegance of my Horseshoe Diamanté adds the perfect finishing touch.

Sweethearts Card

Hi everyone, thanks so much for all your visits and lovely comments left on my blog on blog hop day. It was great to read them all and if you have not seen the new embossing folder that compliments the IOE Plates please check it out HERE. You also still have plenty of time to join in the hop with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree over at at Cheery Lynn.

Today I am sharing with you my DT card for Cheery Lynn Designs which would be suitable for an Engagement, Wedding, Anniversary or even just to say I Love You. We all like to have a card in our stash that will cover a variety of uses should we need one in an emergency, which I think this design does.

I layered the French Lattice die cut over my patterned paper and edged with some Stickles for added sparkle. You will notice on my banner top layers I trimmed off the sides and top, tattering at the edges. I then layered on top of my base banners with foam tape, adding my cute Sweetheart Candy.

My flower was shaded with Distress ink adding a sparkly gem to the centre and mounted on to my Lattice Hearts and Vines along with some more Stickles.

Finishing off my card with the elegant Doves.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and good luck to everyone entering our Blog Hop and Current Challenge - Anything Goes over at Cheery Lynn Designs.

Cheery Lynn Designs - Blog Hop July 2016

Hi everyone, Thanks for stopping by today, we are all so excited at Cheery Lynn Designs to be launching a new IOE Birthday Oval Embossing Folder. If you didn't see our previous blog hop on the amazing IOE plates you can see a video HERE.

I decided to make a card in the shabby vintage style I love. Let me take you through the different stages making my card.

As you can see from this photo I wanted to use the outside edge of my Birthday Oval Folder and the filigree corners from our previously released folder,

so I used my IOE plates to emboss these areas and highlighted with some Gilding Wax.

Next I placed my IOE plates onto my Happy Bithday and embossed my patterned paper. I fussy cut around the edge and mounted my image on with a little Cheesecloth accent and Gilding Wax to highlight the wording.

I now started to add all my layers together.

My floral bouquet I added Flower Soft and a Sparkly Gem to the centres of my flowers.

I heat embossed the word friend with a copper powder and highlighted my embossed areas with some more gilding wax.

Thanks for all your continued comments on our Blog Hop days, and I would love for you to leave a comment today so I know you have stopped by on our hop and to be in with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs.

Your next stop on the Blog Hop is my talented Teamie Lisa.

Crafty Hugs to you,

Even on Rainy Days

Hi Everyone, today for my DT post with Craft Consortium I am sharing a card using the Wild Rose Paper Pad.

I tattered all my layers at the edges and stamped my sentiment.

Notice how I fussy cut part of my paper adding a little Distress ink to the edges, mounting onto foam and highlighting with a few gems for added detail.

I love using this paper collection for die cut flowers as it makes them soft and delicate looking. My flower centres are embellishments from the stunning Always and Forever collection.

Celebrate

Hi fellow crafters, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I have made a shabby chic card to share with you all that would be suitable for many occasions including a Wedding, Prom and Birthday.

I scattered some Frantage over my background layer and tattered the edges for a shabby feel, adding my die cut layers. My dress I glued onto another layer of card and fussy cut around it. I then added lace to the hem and a scattering of pearls and a net shawl draped around the coat hanger for extra detail.

My Tea Roses were inked at the edges and Flower Soft added to the centres. I love these pretty flowers and how delicate they look.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and for all your continued comments, I love reading them.

The Current Challenge over at Cheery Lynn Designs is Pretty in Purple, I do hope you manage to join in the fun with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree.

Vintage Thoughts - Craft Consortium

Hi Everyone, Thanks for stopping by my blog today for my DT post with Craft Consortium. I am sharing a card made using the exquisite English Garden paper pad.

I have 3 layers of patterned paper on my background which I tore to reveal the core and inked at the edges and added some lace for extra detail.

Adding a hand tied bow and butterfly with a resin rose to finish off my design.

My daughter has been at home lately so I have fallen behind a bit with all your lovely blogs but hoping to catch up this week.
