Just Married

 

Hi Everyone, firstly I would like to thank you all for your lovely visits and comments on my blog during the Cheery Lynn blog hop last week, you really made my day. Today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing a Wedding card using the New Release words 'Just Married'. Let me take you through my techniques used on this card.

I used pearlised cardstock for my stacker layers and used a Silver Pen to shade all my Silver accents and scalloped layers. My top stacker layer I embossed with my Hearts Embossing Plate.

My Bride I glued on an overlay of lace and once dry replaced back into my Die to trim off the excess lace. I shaded the Happy Couple with Distress Inks and added some Bling and a Floral Bouquet.

My Chandelier was coloured with a Silver Pen and a little touch of Gold Gilding wax on the Tassles. For my candles I painted on a little Beeswax I had melted in my Meltpot, the flames were shaded with Copics and a touch of Glossy Accents added. Finishing it off with lots of bling.

Merry Christmas my Reindeer

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my Cheery Lynn Designs DT card which is a Festive card made with some of their New Release dies.

My large Snowflake die was cut out in White Cardstock. I sprayed with glue and added some extra fine glitter on it. You will also notice that on my Pierced Stacker die cut the little pierced holes act as a super guide line for adding Stickles evenly - Unfortunately the camera hasn't picked up the sparkle too well. 

My cute Reindeer was cut out in Kraft Cardstock adding a layer of White Cardstock to the back I shaded the areas with Red and Gold pens, adding a little ribbon to the neck and Stickles to the nose.

My Poinsettias were cut out in Patterned Cardstock, distressing lightly with ink and adding a few stamens.

Dove Card

Hi Everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am showcasing the Peace Dove, a very elegant bird die with the most beautiful detail.

My layers are cut out in white and a pearlised lemon shade. This photo shows my first set of layers. I love the added detail the stitching stackers give to the edge of a card. I used my corners from the Royal Scandinavain Tag Set and added some gems on to it.

My next layers I also added some gems and layered with Silicone Glue for height and dimension.

My Dove I added some Distress Ink to the edges curling the wings slightly and adding a little lemon card behind to highlight the Dove's detail and a little gem on to its eye.

Finally adding all my layers together to finish.

Gingerbread House

Hi everyone,  today I am sharing with you my Cheery Lynn Designs DT card for this week using the adorable new Gingerbread House. This House reminded me of the story Hansel and Gretel and this is where my inspiration for this card came from.

My background was cut out in black card highlighting all the stitches around the edges with a white pen. I sprinkled on some chunky white Embossing Powder and heat set it to give a snowy look. My Icicles were cut out in white cardstock, spray adhesive added onto it and a layer of extra fine glitter.

My Trees and Grass were cut out in green and glitter added in the same way as the Icicles.

My Gingerbread House I cut out twice. My top layer in Kraft card and I shaded it with Copic Pens and used my Fineliner Pen in to all the embossed grooves to highlight it. My underneath layer my die was used to emboss onto white cardstock and I coloured with Copics before adding behind my card. Please check out the Cheery Lynn video HERE on how to do this technique.
