Lollipop Card for Maja Design

Hi fellow bloggers, thanks so much for taking the time to stop by at this busy time of the year. Today I am so delighted and honoured to be sharing my lollipop card here and on Maja Design's Blog. Please don't wake me up from this amazing dream !

I have made this card for a very dear craft friend of mine and hope to get a box made shortly to keep it safe.

I started my card by using 12x12 cardstock from A Gift for You collection called - Made By Me, then die cut out Cheery Lynn's DL103 Italian Flourish Doily four times and folded in a concertina fashion to form the base of my card. I also used this paper to add onto my straw, tattering it at the edges and adding on at an angle, finishing with some Stickles Glitter Glue.

I added some Frantage onto my images for a snowy effect and fussy cut the sweet little girl, she is holding 3D snowballs which are made from small fluffy balls I cut down and added a little liquid snow and glass glitter too for added sparkle.

My dies cuts have all been cut from the 6x6 I Wish Collection, every sheet of paper in this pad has been beautiful designed with lots of love and attention to detail. I added highlights of snow and sparkle to my Poinsettia's and Foilage.

The reverse of my card has a stamped sentiment on it, adding more sparkle and snow.

I finished my card with a tattered lace ribbon and cute little mittens which were die cut from felt.

Thanks so much to Maja Design for this amazing opportunity of having my Lollipop Card showcased on their blog, I will treasure this memory for years to come.

Thanks also for all the continued comments on my posts, I really appreciate them and especially at this busy time of year

Festive Hugs,

Julie xx
