Summer Memories Treasure Box

Hi everyone, today for my DT post at Cherish The Memory I decorated a small Balsawood box using the beautiful Studio Light Collection Memories of Summer.

I started by adding some brown chalk paint to all the edges. Once dry I added layers of paper from my 6x6 pad onto my box.

On the top of the lid and inside lid I collaged papers from the Ephemera Sheets sealing everything in place with a layer of Mod Podge Matt.

Once dry I added a layer of felt onto the inner and outer base parts of my box. Finishing with a pretty pearl and diamante gem from Craft Consortium and Stickles for a touch of glamour.
