Easter Gift Bag

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing an Easter Gift Bag I have made to put my Grandson's Easter Present in using the Essentials Brick Paper and Bluebells and Buttercup Collection all from Craft Consortium.

I took my inspiration for this project from a video Sam Calcott made on her YouTube channel here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=muSlrjiiS1s adding my own spin onto this project.

Using the Bluebells and Buttercups decoupage sheets I built up the little characters adding glossy accents onto their feet and some glitter.

My windows were backed with mirri card and some lace added to look like net curtains, fussy cutting some cute characters to peek out the windows.

My door I made a wreath with some diecut leaves and fussy cut characters.

My roof I decoupaged some more fussy cut butterflies for extra details adding a gift tag.

I also made a Easter card to pop in my Gift Box using one of the toppers from the 6x6 paper pad.

I hope to make a similar box using the Cottage Garden collection also from Craft Consortium.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Woodland

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are ok and managing to stay safe from this crazy world we live in. Today I am sharing some projects I recently made for Craft Consortium using their New Release called Woodland. This collection has papers in 12x12 and 6x 6 along with stamps, ephemera and Washi tape.

My notepad book was made using chip board measured to size to fit my notebook. I covered the chipboard in Black paper adding on the pretty papers from the collection.

Washi Tape used to top notepad.

This card uses Craft Consortum's beautiful dies along with the pretty ephemera from the collection

Another project using this collection

Craft Consortium Essentials Launch

Hi everyone, I thought you would like to see this amazing new launch of papers from Craft Consortium which is part of their essentials range.

WOW these new 6x6 and 12x12 paper pads are an absolute must have, only problem is deciding what one to use first as they are all gorgeous. It’s also a great idea  for a ready go to inky background.

When I saw the papers I knew right away I wanted to make some jewellery boxes for Christmas time with them as the papers give the illusion of being marble especially when added to a 3D project. Both paper pads have been used for my boxes.

Please do check out Craft Consortium to see all their beautiful ranges of papers, stamps and embellishments HERE.

Take care and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Happy Haunting

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I posted on my blog but I thought given the detail on my haunted house you may all like to see some more close up pictures.

My house has been made using the new paper, stamp and embellishments  collection from Craft Consortium called Happy Haunting which has been illustrated by the lovely Helz Cuppleditch and you can buy it HERE.

My cute little Owls have been stamped, coloured in and fussy cut out using one of the stamp sets in the collection as has my sign, I added Glossy Accents to their eyes.
The chimneys on my house have had the wonderful witches hats embellishments added onto them. I added a little alcohol ink and gilding wax to age them.

I added a couple of pumpkins into the garden also adding a witches hat onto the top of it.

My fence was cut and layered up 3 times in black cardstock to make it nice and rigid adding a little gilding wax to give a metallic feel to it. I glued this onto a small box I made with my scoreboard for the base.

Here are some cards and a gift bag I also made using this collection.

Many thanks for stopping by today I do appreciate it.

Thinking of You

Hi everyone, I thought I’d share a card I have recently made as a gift for a friend that has recently gone through heart surgery.

This card uses papers from the stunning range called Summer Garden from Paper Boutique.
It also uses a variety of dies from the John Next Door range.

The yellow flowers and Ferns are both retired dies from Susan Tierney Cockburn.

The Doily is also a retired Cheery Lynn die.

Thanks for stopping by.

Beastie Box

Hi Everyone, thanks for stopping by my blog today. For my DT post at Craft Consortium I have been creating with the stunning eclectic 12x12 papers and stamps from The Emporium collection to make my Beastie Box.

The stamps as you can see stamped beautifully and I heat embossed the images adding extra layers for dimension and some glossy accents for a life like feel. I added a little cotton ribbon onto the top of them to make it easy to be lifted out my box.

Please do check out Craft Consortium and follow them on Facebook and Instagram for regular inspiration and giveaways.

Introducing The Emporium

Hi everyone, today for my Design Team post with Craft Consortium I am sharing my first project using The Emporium Collection which has just been launched. As you can see from the photo below this is a stunning collection which includes stamps and ephemera. The papers are exquisite in design and are a joy to create with.

I decided to make a stationery gift box containing cards/notelets with matching 4x4 envelopes.

My card designs I kept to a minimum to show the beauty of these papers adding on some sentiments using the stamps from the collection.

My bug I added some glossy accents on top of the body to give a domed effect.

Here are another couple of pics for you to enjoy.
