Hello

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some more inspiration from their fabulous new Bohemian Collection.

Today my card is clean and simple and a great design if you have an unexpected card needed in a hurry. I started by cutting out the intricate Paisley Frame and edged the frame with some Gold Embossing Powder and mounted onto a white background to make the design 'pop'.

I added my drop shadowed sentiment and heart which also has Gold Embossing powder on it and a touch of bling.

My flower was also drop shadowed with White Cardstock and shaped on my Embossing mat.

Thanks so much for all the lovely comments you left me on blog hop day, it was so nice reading them all.

Happy Crafting,
Julie x

Cheery Lynn Designs Blog Hop January 2017 CHA Release

Hi everyone, today at Cheery Lynn Designs we are all super excited to be sharing our new release of Dies for Jan 2017 and what an amazing launch it will be at the CHA/Creativation and  I feel so proud to know my cards are on display there.

Today for our blog hop I am showcasing the new Celestial Sun die on my card along with a flower die from the Indie bouquet.

I coloured my sun with Copic Pens and layered two complete suns off setting for a shadow effect and then added the centre of the sun once more for extra dimension finishing it off with lots of bling, a sentiment and an accent of a flower from the Indie bouquet on the top and bottom corner of my card.

I'd love if you left me a comment before you hop over to LISA's blog to let me know you have stopped by. Be sure to continue the blog hop until you finish back at Cheery Lynn Designs to be in with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

A Birthday Recipe

Hi everyone,  today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I'm sharing some Birthday inspiration with you in a vintage style.

I have added some pearls and cheesecloth to my stars and Sister word with a drop shadow effect.

My sentiment was stamped and a little Stickles added to the edges mounting onto my die cut layers with foam strips and another touch of cheesecloth.

My flowers were cut out in white cardstock inking the centres with a soft pink shade and  moulding on my embossing mat to shape the petals and finishing with a pearl centre.
