Cherish Each Passing Moment

Happy New Year to all my Blogger Friends, today for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some Vintage inspiration using a selection of the beautiful Dies they have available.

Using Craft Consortiums Wild Rose paper pad I started by tattering a few layers of my papers and added onto my card with foam strips. I love the intricate details on my diecut frame to which I added some Frantage powders to give an elegant Shabby look to it.

My Flowers have all been built up with 4 layers, shaping with my fingers and adding sparkly gems into the centres, layering onto my flourishes and adding some tiny dried flowers for another detail.

Finishing my card off with a stamped fussy cut ticket, a lace ribbon and an embellishment.

Baked With Love

Hi everyone, with the Bake Off finally started once again on the TV, I thought it would be fun to make a card for my DT post for Craft Consortium using the pretty Wild Rose paper pad. It has many perfect designs within this pad to give the vintage feel I was after for this style of card. I love how each sheet compliments the others in the pad.

My card measures 8 x 8 and I started by tattering 3 layers at the edges and on my top layer I added some stitching and a few buttons.

I placed a diecut Doily into the centre of my design to help the layers of my patterned coordinating papers pop on my apron. Adding touches of lace, more buttons and kitchen utensils into the pockets.

My card was finished with a stamped friendship sentiment

and oven gloves hanging from her apron.

You're Special to Me

Hi everyone, today for my DT post with Craft Consortium I am sharing a card made using the beautiful vintage floral 12x12 pad called Wild Rose.

I tattered the layers of paper for a vintage feel layering onto my card. My lace was shaded with Distress Stain to coordinate with the soft pink in the paper for added detail.

I stamped my sentiment adding onto my crackled frame with an accent of an elegant butterfly fussy cut from the Gypsy Gypsy paper pad.

I love the effect of pollen being blown onto my die cut leaves and flowers when cut out of the patterned paper from the Wild Rose Paper pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card and do check out Craft Consortium to see their vast range of stunning embellishments, paper pads and Decoupage papers on Facebook for inspiration and regular giveaways, you will also find them on Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.

Craft Consortium Latest Release

Hi there, lovely to have you stop by my blog. Craft Consortium are launching a New Release of their Decoupage papers this week and for my DT post I have created a home decor item.

I started off with a paper mache frame and gave it a coat of White Gesso to seal it. Next I tore sections of my decoupage paper and added on to my frame with Mod Podge matte. You will see I added my Rose Bouquet paper to the front and back for a perfect finished look.

I stamped my Doll stamp, shaded her with Copics and added her dress which had been stamped on to paper from my Wild Rose paper pad, which compliments the decoupage papers perfectly.

My centre image I added some stitching for detail onto my background paper, again from the Wild Rose paper pad and tattered the edges. Mounting onto my frame with a little tuille behind it. I stamped my sentiment and mounted onto my die cut adding these beautiful pearl and bling embellishments.

Finishing off my frame with some Chrysanthemum flowers and more touches of bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and please check out Craft Consortium to see their full range and on Facebook for inspiration and regular giveaways, you will also find them on Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.

Craft Consortium New Release-Wild Rose Paper Pad.

Hi Everyone, this week Craft Consortium are releasing 2 stunning New Paper Pads. This one on my card is called Wild Rose, isn't it pretty.

I die cut out all my squares with a Stitch Square Stacker. This is a great way to use up those little scraps of paper and for me to showcase a mix of the papers in the pad for you all to see. I tattered them at the edges adding a little Distress Ink to give a look of quilted material, placing my design on my card.

My sentiment was stamped, adding some handmade flowers, buttons and a few touches of glitter to finish. I love the pretty vintage look these papers have.

Please do check out Craft Consortium on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. They have regular fab giveaways and inspiration for all.

Thanks for stopping by today and thank you to all who left me lovely comments on my Gypsy Gypsy Wagon they were very much appreciated, if you haven't seen it you can click HERE to view.
