Framed Memories - Craft Consortium

Hi fellow bloggers and thanks for stopping by. Craft Consortium have launched a new range of paper pads called Essential Pads and they certainly are when you see them. I have been playing with two of these pads called Wood Textures and Vintage Emporium which are amazing.

My project was cut out using a Tonic Die from my stash and both of these paper pads. The Vintage Emporium Pad comes with a super range of Vintage Photos and Ephemera in the pad.

I added some Stickles around my frames for some added sparkle. Pearls, flowers, lace and cheesecloth for my finishing touches and tickets from the Ephemera sheet.

Snow - It’s the Season.

Hi everyone, for my DT post at Cherish The Memory this week I have been playing with the beautiful Studio Light Collections.

I started by making up my 3d Decoupage sheets mixing and matching a few elements adding silicone glue to the layers.

My base layer I added a sprinkling of Frantage for an extra snowy feel and tattered my paper at the edges.

I layered on all my decoupaged elements and added some flowers. Finishing with lots of glitter and ice crystals.

Do check out Cherish The Memory Etsy Shop where you will see a super range of Studio Light and Mintay Products.

What a Cracker

Hi everyone, today for my DT post at Cherish The Memory I have been playing with the gorgeous Mintay papers and Ephemera sheets that are now stocked in their Etsy Shop.

I started by die cutting out my Christmas Crackers using my Tonic Die. Next I matted and layered my Mintay papers onto my Crackers adding some ink to the edges of my layers and a little sparkle from a glitter pen.

My front images were layered onto die cut snowflakes adding a Metal Charm and glittered twine.

Finishing with some pretty ribbon and lace at the edges of my crackers.

Do stop by at Cherish The Memory to see their wonderful range of Mintay and Studio Light Products. Links you maybe interested in.....

Memories Captured - Craft Consortium

Hi fellow bloggers and thanks for stopping by. Craft Consortium have launched a new range of paper pads called Essential Pads and they certainly are when you see them. I have been playing with two of these pads called Wood Textures and Vintage Emporium which are amazing.

Today I have been using both these pads on my latest 3D project. I have made a couple of these photo cubes in the past, one which has photographs of myself as a child on them which you may remember. They are fun to make and with all the amazing photographs in the Vintage Emporium Pad I knew I just had to make another one.

This one is made slightly different as I bought a pack of 4 wooden drinks mats to form my cube adding a square of chipboard onto the top and bottom. Next I edged all my corners with Washi Tape to help strengthen and give a neat edge. My dark brown papers are from the Woodgrain Textures Pad and were tattered at the edges and some brown ink added to them and glued in place all around my cube.

My newspaper styled paper and photographs are all in the Vintage Emporium Pad. I built Matt and layers onto my photographs using my Wood Textures Pad, tattering and inking the edges. These were then layered onto cheesecloth and doilies to add more vintage touches.

Finishing with lots of pearls, inked flowers, butterflies and embellishments from the Always and Forever Collection.
