Hi fellow crafters. Today for my Design Team post at
Craft Consortium I have been playing with the beautiful Wildflower Meadow Paper
Pad and Stamp sets making a little vintage garden note book.
I used Eileen Hull’s Passport Book die to make this. So
let me show you my photos.
I covered Greyboard with papers from my Wildflower Meadow
Pad gluing on both sides and once dry die cutting the shapes of the covers. I
added ink to the edges and stamping on the corners.
My Greyboard for my spine was covered in Hessian on the
outside and paper on the inside.
My Wildflower image also comes from a selection of
toppers in the paper pad, diecutting it, inking and layering onto a few diecuts
along with some cheesecloth.
On my inside covers I added a couple of pockets with some
faux stitching at the edges, a touch of lace and a button. My insects were heat
embossed with Wow Powders and coloured with Copic Pens.
I stamped some small faux seed packets and placed in the
pockets.
I finished my book by adding more of the beautiful papers
into my book along with some plain papers and fixed in place with Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and do check out Craft Consortium and follow them on Facebook and Instagram for regular inspiration and giveaways.
