Cheery Lynn Designs - Flower Power Blog Hop

Hi everyone, have you seen the vast range of exquisite Flower dies Cheery Lynn Designs do ? Well today you are in for a real treat as we all showcase some of these dies on our latest Blog Hop, so please make sure you carry on hopping to see my team mates creations.

When I make flowers I will either use patterned cardstock or cut in white paper and shade with inks. I love to use bling, micro beads and flower soft into the centre of my flowers. My leaves I also like to cut out of patterned paper or ink with a few shades of green for a realistic look.

My card this time shows flowers inked and flower soft added to the centres for a realistic look. I love to add a mix of different foliage, this adds extra detail and interest for a realistic look. Cheery Lynn has a vast range of foliage to add to your floral arrangements.

I added foam strips between my layers to add depth and shadow layered with some pink cardstock.

  28. I'm loving your card. Especially all the layers you used and the Royal Scandinavian Doily is soon to be a favorite of mine. I too use patterned papers for my leaves and flowers. Manly because I'm not so very good at shading. But I'm getting better.

  37. This is unbelievable Julie! I am too lazy to use so many dies on one project. I actually pay my younger daughter to make dies for me. So sad.... :( I do admire this tremendously though, a real work of art! Hugs to you today! Autumn
