Easter Egg Hunt

Hi Everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some more Easter inspiration with the super selection of Dies they have available.

I started by cutting out my chicks in lemon and white cardstock. I shaded the eggs with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and mounted them onto the yellow die cut chicks adding a drop of Black Liquid Pearls into their eyes.

My rabbit was shaded with Iced Spruce Distress ink and a fluffy Pom Pom tail added.

My eggs were cut out of Craft Consortium’s Wild Rose Paper Pad and mounted onto background paper and fussy cut around the edges, finishing with lots of pink gems being added onto them for sparkle.

Fun at Easter

Hi everyone, today for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some inspiration for Easter using a small selection of their dies.

I started by cutting out my Quatrefoil frame in white cardstock and using the beautiful Wild Rose paper pad from Craft Consortium I started to build my background layers adding a grass border to the edge of my basket and card.

My whimsical flowers I cut from the same paper pad making sure I placed the Die onto a patterned area of the paper to make my flowers look full of soft shades. I also added a flower to the centre of my bow.

My basket was cut out in Kraft Cardstock and I highlighted the embossed areas with a Fine Liner pen. My sweet bunny is holding a couple of small Easter Eggs and he has a fluffy Pom Pom tail.

Finishing off with a cute little Bird on a branch which is on sale at present in their Clearance Section along with a vast range of other dies, so do check it out.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Weekend to all my lovely followers and thank you so much for the comments on my Springtime card, I was overwhelmed with all your kind words. Today for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs I decided to make a Spring card filled with Easter inspiration.

I started by layering 2 layers of paper onto my base card adding Stickles at the edge for a touch of sparkle. I layered on part of my doily as an accent, this helped my Basket pop from the design against the busy floral paper.

My Happy Easter was layered twice for a shadow effect, adding my branches and flowers which had been shaded with Copics.

My sweet Easter Chicks were shaded with Distress Inks. I coloured their feet and beaks with Copics and finished them by adding a little black liquid pearls onto their eye. Mounting them onto the Grass Border Strip.

My Basket I die cut in purple cardstock and then used our Special Effects technique demonstrated HERE to get the background. Layering in my Eggs with a touch of Silicone Glue and adding a little Satin Bow.

Thanks for stopping by today and good luck to everyone entering the Cheery Lynn Designs Current Challenge - Anything Goes.
