Vintage Kisses

Hi everyone, the challenge over at Cheery Lynn Designs at present is Lots of Layers and I thought it would be fun to join in with some inspiration for my DT card this week using the new Lords and Commons A2 die Facer set.
I decided to use my die set for an Easel styled card, using negative parts of the die and some of the corner shapes as well as the Facer.

You will see I tattered all my layers as I started to layer adding some stitching to the top layer, along with some Frantage and the little hearts that fall out of the negative space of the die, topping with a Pearl.

My flowers were inked in the centre along with some Flowersoft. My leaves I scattered some Frantage onto them.

I used the corner accent that comes in the Facer set and my Tiny Doily to add some more detail and layered behind my stacker frames at the image.

My flower to hold the Easel in place was mounted onto my Lords and Commons tiny Doily.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and I hope you have a lovely creative weekend. Look forward to seeing you in the Cheery Lynn Designs  Bi - Weekly Challenge.

With Kisses

Hi Everyone,  Cheery Lynn Designs do the most wonderful Butterfly dies in many different styles and sizes with Angel wings for perfect layering. So for my DT card this week I thought it would be nice to show you all how they can hold centre stage on a card for a wow factor.

I started by matting and layering my stacker dies to give a detailed border with contrasting colours and adding some Copper Stickles around the edge of my centre mat.

My Doily was cut out in Cream Cardstock and shaded with Distress ink, matting onto my Pierced stackers along with my Lords and Commons Super Doily. My Butterfly was heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder and layered onto my Angel Wing Die, finishing off with a few pearls and a Sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Vintage Seaside

Hi Everyone, today for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs is my Vintage Seaside themed card which I am sharing with you.

I coloured the Globe stand with Copic pens. I then heat embossed my World with Aged Green Frantage and layered onto my Angel Wing which had been cut out in Blue Cardstock for the sea. I love the way this effect has worked with this die.

My Ships Anchor was heat embossed with a mix of Distress Powders and Verdigris Antiquities to give a rusty textured effect.

Thanks for stopping by today and as always, your comments are very much appreciated.

Wedding/Celebration Stationery

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my DT project for Cheery Lynn Designs. With the Wedding Season fast approaching I thought it would be nice to share some Invitations with you today that could easily be adapted for any other celebration/occasion.

Here is a close up photograph of my Wedding Invitation. In the aligning up of the dies my DT mate Sandy shows how to do this in a Tutorial HERE, so I won't go into details.

My words were stamped using Archival Ink and a little Stickles was added for sparkle, along with some gems. I attached my ribbon using extra strong tape tucking in the edges before matting onto my card.

My Evening Invitation compliments the Wedding one. I stamped directly onto my card with Archival Ink adding on my mats and layers, Stickles and a few gems. I kept this card simple, so several could be made should you have a lot of invitations to make.

My Place Settings were made be cutting out the scalloped rectangle, scoring down the middle and adding my die cut layer. Bride and Groom were handwritten on. You could also computer generate your names and cut out before layering on.

Hope you have enjoyed my post and have a great weekend.
See you all next week.

Steampunk Valentine

Hi Everyone, for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs this week I made a Valentine card with a Steampunk twist to tie in with their Challenge - Sweethearts ' Add a Heart '

You will see on this photograph how I cut my first layer in red card adding the Gear dies, layering some to the front and some behind. I cut a lot in half as new this was the area that was only going to be seen on my card.

                                                         B523 Deutchland Border Set

DL292 Lords and Commons A2 Stacker Frame

The next layer showcases two of our new dies which you can position anywhere on your card, the choice is yours.

I added my steampunk corners to the sides, layering on more Gears and adding a little Stencilling with inks onto my paper. See how the die cuts really pop mounted onto the red card.

My Stampotique images were kindly given to me by my blog friend Donna from Inky and Quirky. I fussy cut the figures out and coloured with Copic pens - aren't they cute !

My Hearts and Arrows were cut out in Red, Black and White Cardstock, you will see how I paper pieced the layers back together which adds dimension and a shadow effect.

My sentiment was a sticker in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by I appreciate your visit and comments,

Enjoy your Weekend.
