Hello Friend

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some inspiration on my friendship card using their super vintage Rotary Phone Die.

Using Maja Design papers I started by tattering my base layers and adding on Hello Friend.

My Rotary Phone was cut out in Black cardstock and Gold Glitter card, paper piecing my sections together and adding a large gem into the centre of the dial. I glued in place with some Silicone Glue onto my tattered layer and Doily.

My flowers were all inked in the centres with Archival ink adding Stamens into the centres, placing the arrangement onto my card.

Cheery Lynn Designs - Blog Hop July 2016

Hi everyone, Thanks for stopping by today, we are all so excited at Cheery Lynn Designs to be launching a new IOE Birthday Oval Embossing Folder. If you didn't see our previous blog hop on the amazing IOE plates you can see a video HERE.

I decided to make a card in the shabby vintage style I love. Let me take you through the different stages making my card.

As you can see from this photo I wanted to use the outside edge of my Birthday Oval Folder and the filigree corners from our previously released folder,

so I used my IOE plates to emboss these areas and highlighted with some Gilding Wax.

Next I placed my IOE plates onto my Happy Bithday and embossed my patterned paper. I fussy cut around the edge and mounted my image on with a little Cheesecloth accent and Gilding Wax to highlight the wording.

I now started to add all my layers together.

My floral bouquet I added Flower Soft and a Sparkly Gem to the centres of my flowers.

I heat embossed the word friend with a copper powder and highlighted my embossed areas with some more gilding wax.

Thanks for all your continued comments on our Blog Hop days, and I would love for you to leave a comment today so I know you have stopped by on our hop and to be in with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs.

Your next stop on the Blog Hop is my talented Teamie Lisa.

Crafty Hugs to you,

Forever Friends

Hi Everyone, this week for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs I thought I would showcase the versatility of their Stacker dies and how by turning them round and cutting in to the die cut shapes with another stacker you are able to achieve lots of different shapes.

You will see on these photos how I cut out my shapes and inserted in to each other for my base layer.

This photo shows my next layers and how I turned the same stacker as on the first layer around 90 degrees to give a different look.

My Butterfly was heat embossed and a pearl added.

My roses were cut out in White Cardstock and shaded with 2 colours of Distress Ink.

My words were double layered for a shadow effect and the "S" was taken from my word set Happy Christmas. Finally adding some pearls, Stickles and a Leaf Flourish to finish.

Thanks for stopping by today and for all the lovely comments that you leave.

Cheery Lynn Designs April New Release

Hi Everyone, Cheery Lynn Designs launches their 2nd New Release of the year today and WOW what an amazing release this is. I'm sure when you check out all the designs HERE you will agree we have been thoroughly spoiled with an amazing release.

On this card I am showcasing 4 of the new dies.

The centre shows the new Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 which comes with an extra swirl die which I have placed around the outer edge of my circle to compliment my tag. My Bird comes in a Set of 4, LOVE them and their amazing detail. You will see them in some more cards over the next month.

The Pierced Stackers are fab - notice all the little holes around the edges, such a pretty finish to the edge.

The new Leafy Flourish comes in a set of 2 and is so pretty with the little flowers. I cut it out in plain cardstock and layered on a die cut layer of pattern cardstock for my flowers.

Over at the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog my fabulous Teamies are also showcasing more of the New Release, please pop over HERE to see their amazing cards.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back on Saturday showcasing some more from the New Release.
