Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, I have decided to take some time away from social media for personal reasons but will hopefully still be creating behind the scenes and have several posts scheduled for coming weeks. I will catch up with all your lovely social media posts once back.

For my DT post with Cherish The Memory I am using the beautiful Lemoncraft Products available in their Etsy Shop.

My layers on my card consist of fussy cut ones from the papers and tattered edges on others, layering with foam strips to add dimension. Lace, a Doily and a scattering of Frantage all for extra detail.

My sweet little girl, clock and butterflies were all fussy cut. Finishing with a stamped sentiment, some flowers and these gorgeous little retro badges that remind me of ones I used to wear on my school uniform.

Please check out the following links:

where you will see these gorgeous papers and more inspiration with them from my teamies.

Thanks for your visits, they are always so appreciated and hopefully it won’t be too long until I visit your blogs again too.

Own Little World

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some more inspiration with their latest release - Let’s Go Retro.

My card measures approximately 6 x 6 inches. I started by adding my 2 Stacker base layers onto my card and some stars which I outlined with a glitter pen to give depth to them. I next added on my moon with a Visible Image sentiment stamped in the centre.

My rocket was cut out in glitter card and white cardstock which was shaded with Copic pens.

My cute robot was cut in Miri card and Glitter Card adding lots of little gems onto her.

Wildflowers

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog today. Did you see the beautiful Wildflower Meadow Collection on Create and Craft last week ? Unfortunately it sold out but the good news is it will be back in stock on 25th April on Create and Craft on their show at 8am GMT.

My card today uses some of the papers from this pad tearing and tattering my layers adding some hessian onto the layers as an accent and layering on with foam strips.

My topper is also from the pad, along with a selection of other beautiful Wildflower florals. I added a little twine, some Stickles to the borders and a fussy cut Daisy.

Finishing with a cute little Bird on a Branch from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Craft Consortium-Wildflower Meadow

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog today. Did you see the beautiful new Wildflower Meadow Collection on Create and Craft last week by Craft Consortium? Unfortunately it sold out but the good news is it will be back in stock on the 25th April at Create and Craft on their show at 8am GMT.

Today I am sharing some more inspiration with these gorgeous papers on my card using Becca Feekens 3D Dies. The weight of this paper pad is great for these cards, as is the fantastic non shed glitter card which I used as an accent for a little sparkle and both die-cut so well.

I love how you can build a little scene too by fussy cutting aspects from the pads.

Adding some pretty embellishments from the Always and Forever Collection to finish and a wild flower topper from the paper pad.

Let’s Go Retro - April Blog Hop Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi fellow bloggers, we are all excited at Cheery Lynn today to be launching our new release of Dies called Let’s Go Retro in a fun Blog Hop where you have a chance of winning a shopping spree by hopping along and answering a few questions at the end.

Today my card showcases the funky new Juke Box Die and the words Rock and Roll that come in a pack with a few more word dies.

The Juke Box comes with all the sections separate which makes it so easy for paper piecing together when using different colours and types of card.

I glued my music border diagonally over my card mounting on my Juke Box Box and glittered words to finish.

I’d love for you to leave a comment before hopping to your next stop on our Blog Hop - Lisa’s Blog.

Thanks for stopping by,

Thinking of You

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some inspiration on a card that could be used for many occasions just by changing the sentiment.

My card measures approximately 6 x 4 inches and the paper pad  I have used is from Craft Consortium called Wild Rose. I started by adding my base layer onto my card and cutting my Doily in half from white cardstock.

My Tea Roses were also cut from the same patterned paper, shaping on my Embossing mat and adding a Gem into the centres. I bunched them together onto my card with a leaf flourish and my stamped sentiment.

Be your beautiful self

Hello fellow bloggers, I hope this post finds you all well. Today is my DT post at Cherish The Memory, sharing some more inspiration with the beautiful LEMONCRAFT papers on my card.

I started by tattering my layers and rubbing along my Embossing ink pad and heat setting in place some Gold Embossing powder. I next added some foam strips onto these layers to add dimension onto my card.

I fussy cut sections from my Ephemera Sheet and Paper Pad adding onto and between my layers with touches of lace.

My frame I painted with Distress Crackle paint adding a touch of Gilding Wax and my fussy cut roses.

Finishing off with a fussy cut butterfly, sentiment, pearls and a pretty flower.

Sneak Peak - Craft Consortium Wildflower Meadow Collection

Hi everyone, I am very excited to be sharing with you all my first sneak peak of the stunning Wildflower Meadow Paper Pad by Hackney and Co for my Design Team post at Craft Consortium. Please tune into Create and Craft on the 7th April at 2pm GMT where I can guarantee you will drool over the beauty in every sheet of paper designed in this pad and stamp sets.

I haven’t made a 12 x 12 Inch layout in a very long time but wanted to show you all the versatility of these papers and how they can adapt from cardmaking to scrapbooking and even home decor/mixed media.

I started by tattering the edges of my first two layers adding some torn areas which I layered a lacey die cut behind for an extra detail.

I added Embossing paste through my stencil adding Gold Embossing powder on top and heat setting in place to add some texture.

My centre layers were torn and tattered at the edges adding some lace between the layers to give a vintage feel and compliment the pretty feminine flowers.

My flower toppers all come in the paper pad. I tattered the edges and heat set Gold Embossing powder to the edges and mounted my centre image onto a die cut frame.

My leafy chipboards were coloured with a Copic Pen and glued in position adding lots of flowers and a chipboard bird which I coloured with Gold Gilding Wax and added lots of gems.

My rabbit has been fussy cut from the pad and layered to the side of my stamped sentiment from the new stamp sets that compliment the range.

Finishing with fussy cut dragonflies from the paper pad and Bronze Micro beads along the centre of my design to help make it pop.

Please remember to watch Create and Craft on the 7th April to see this whole collection launch.

Hello Friend

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some inspiration on my friendship card using their super vintage Rotary Phone Die.

Using Maja Design papers I started by tattering my base layers and adding on Hello Friend.

My Rotary Phone was cut out in Black cardstock and Gold Glitter card, paper piecing my sections together and adding a large gem into the centre of the dial. I glued in place with some Silicone Glue onto my tattered layer and Doily.

My flowers were all inked in the centres with Archival ink adding Stamens into the centres, placing the arrangement onto my card.
