Cherish The Memory - Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing my first post with you as a DT member at Cherish The Memory using products from their Vintage Range.

My card measures just under 6 x 6 inches square, I started my adding a couple of layers of paper which I tattered at the edges with scissors and added some Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to the edges. I also added a couple of rows of wonky stitching using my sewing machine for extra detail.

My Doily was die cut out of the same paper as my layers and cut in half to use as accents on my card. Using my beautiful Die cuts pad I chose a few images from it and also Tattered at the edges adding some more Distress Ink to the edges. My book page was shaped and glued in placed with Silicone Glue to hold its shape and craft glue at the edges.

I added a layer of lace and glued  my diecut collage with Silicone Glue together adding dimensional buttons onto my heart shape, some gems and stamens onto my butterfly and a small key and also adding a couple of dimensional flowers. I finished by adding a spritz of Shabby splashes using my Chalk markers with my Distress Spritzer.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and please head over to Cherish The Memory to see their amazing craft range where new products are regularly being added. You can also follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Crafty Hugs,
 Julie x

  12. WOW Julie...such beautiful colors you have used and I do love the button heart. I never could get silicon glue to work for me...it is always too thick and difficult to squeeze out...do you have any tips?

    Cheers

    1. I squeeze my tube from the bottom and when enough comes to the top I swipe the blob off with a cocktail stick and apply to my card.
      Hope that helps x
